The CUFI Fellow opportunity allows for a CUFI on Campus student leader to be considered for a personal prize of $500 a semester after achieving above and beyond student engagement on their campus and community as outlined in the 4-3-2-1 Semester Engagement Points. 

CUFI Fellow Eligibility

  • Must be an officer in or be working to launch a CUFI on Campus chapter at your university. 

  • Have attended at least one CUFI conference. 

  • Be enrolled in a U.S. university for another full semester.

  • Work exclusively with CUFI on Campus in pro-Israel efforts while a CUFI Fellow. 

Both Bonhoeffer Fellows and non-Bonhoeffer Fellows are welcome to apply. This opportunity is open to both undergrad and graduate students.

CUFI Fellow 4-3-2-1 Semester Engagement Points:

  • Hold four campus outreach events (3 Community Engagement Campaigns, 1 Educational Event) Community Engagement Campaigns to choose from: 

    • Coffee w/ CUFI 

    • Shine the Light on Antisemitism

    • Matthew 5:9 Prayer Event 

    • Unity Gathering

    • Beads for Blessing 

    • CUFI on Campus tabling campaign 
       

  • Educational Events to choose from:

    • Organize a pro-Israel speaker event on campus or virtually 

    • CUFI Fellow presentation to club or chapter 
       

  • Record three one minute pro-Israel videos for CUFI on Campus social media
     

  • Add two officers to an existing CUFI on Campus chapter OR move two steps forward in the establishment of an official CUFI on Campus Chapter 
     

  • Engage one Church in tabling outreach OR write one 350 word Israel relate essay for the CUFI on Campus Newsletter OR collation build with other student organizations or leaders 

Application Due Dates: 

 

Applications for CUFI Fellows are on a rolling basis with final applications for consideration to be submitted no later than January 15th for spring semester, and August 30th for fall semester.  

Sharing Your Engagement: 

 

Send a brief description of each Semester Engagement Point within 10 days of completion, including any quality photos, videos, or campus newspaper coverage. Share a brief end of semester update outlining your impact as a CUFI Fellow.

CUFI Fellow Prize:

 

A $500 prize will be paid to CUFI Fellows at the end of the semester pending the completion of the 4-3-2-1 Semester Engagement Points and a CUFI review of all submitted updates. Students may reapply for one CUFI Fellow prize each new semester. 

 

Opportunities to apply for event funds are also available to CUFI on Campus Chapters for Community Engagement Events.
