2024 Chaperone Application

WHAT IS THE DC SUMMIT: CUFI’s 2024 Summit is your opportunity to stand up and speak out for Zion’s sake. Learn from leading policymakers and Middle East experts and be part of the organization that is educating, motivating, and activating millions of Christian leaders in support of Israel and the Jewish people.

 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A HIGH SCHOOL CHAPERONE SCHOLARSHIP: Individuals must be at least 25 years older. The ideal candidates are working with us to identify students for awarded scholarships. Specific chaperone duties and responsibilities are outlined below.

  • High School Teachers

  • Administrators

  • Youth Group Leaders

  • Parents/Guardians

  • CUFI on Campus Alumni


WHAT DOES THE SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDE?  

  • Transportation costs

  • 4 nights in at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center

  • Admittance to the CUFI National Summit 

  • CUFI High School Training sessions 

  • Meeting with your Members of Congress on Capitol Hill

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A HIGH SCHOOL CHAPERONE AT SUMMIT: 

  • Oversee a designated group of high school students (between 6 and 10 students) throughout the conference from July 27-31, 2024.

  • Hold a debrief session in a public location in the hotel each evening with the group of high school students they are designated to oversee.

  • Ensure their student group attend all group meetings, meals, and all conference sessions.

  • Chaperones will be given specific daily high school team-approved instructions per the need of the day to guide their student group and conduct follow-ups as needed.

These duties and responsibilities will be further explained during a CUFI Informational video call specifically designed for accepted chaperones of 2024 when we are one month away from the time of the conference.
