CUFI HIGH SCHOOL

2024 Summit Application

July 27-31, 2024

WHAT IS THE DC SUMMIT: CUFI’s 2024 Summit is your opportunity to stand up and speak out for Zion’s sake. Learn from leading policymakers and Middle East experts and be part of the organization that is educating, motivating, and activating millions of Christian leaders in support of Israel and the Jewish people.

  

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Rising high school juniors and seniors (those who will be high school juniors and seniors the school year following the conference).

  • Homeschool students are welcome to apply.

 

THE SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDES:

  • Transportation costs up to $450

  • 4 nights in at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center

  • Admittance to the CUFI National Summit 

  • CUFI High School Israel advocacy training sessions 

  • Meeting with your Members of Congress on Capitol Hill

FAQ

ARE THERE CHAPERONES? Yes, approved chaperones who have gone through a background check will chaperone the CUFI High School students at Summit.

WILL BOTH MALE AND FEMALE CHAPERONES BE PRESENTYes, male and female chaperones will be present to ensure that both male and female high school students have appropriate supervision.

WILL A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN NEED TO SIGN A FORM? Yes, if you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must sign a Release of Liablity Form for you to attend the CUFI Washington Summit. This form will be sent to you via email after you have submitted this application.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS LIKE TO BOOK YOUR FLIGHT FOR SUMMIT? After high school student applications are approved, the CUFI-designated travel agency will book all flights for high school students. You will not need to book your own flights. This process will be detailed in the acceptance email for both chaperones and high school students.

WILL WE BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE OUR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT? Yes, high school students and chaperones will be required to provide their own transportation to and from the airport. Further details about this will be included in a later email after acceptances are sent.

WHAT ARE THE COVID PROTOCOLS FOR SUMMIT? CUFI on Campus will adhere to state, local, or venue requirements if masks are required for the event. The state of Maryland and our venue do not currently require face coverings, although this is subject to change between now and the event. CUFI on Campus will have masks available for use if needed. 

As a reminder, if you are exhibiting signs of sickness, or if you have been exposed to someone who has contracted COVID-19 within the last 10 days we request that you stay home. If you cannot attend due to these reasons, please contact the High School Outreach Coordinator for optional opportunities. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding during this time.
