Before you begin to register for the CUFI Student Advocacy Leadership Training (SALT) Conference Scholarship and explore the information found on the other pages, we would like to help you familiarize yourself with the mission of CUFI and with our scholarship details:

WHAT IS CHRISTIANS UNITED FOR ISRAEL: As the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States, Christians United for Israel (CUFI) is the foremost Christian organization educating and empowering millions of Americans to speak and act with one voice in defense of Israel and the Jewish people.

CUFI’s diversity across political, ethnic, generational, and denominational lines maximizes our impact in communities, the media, on campus, and in our nation’s capital. CUFI is committed to confronting indifference and combating antisemitism in all its forms wherever it may be found.

WHAT IS CUFI ON CAMPUS: CUFI on Campus, a Christians United for Israel national initiative launched in 2008, actively equips hundreds of Christian student leaders each year with the biblical principles and political skills to be advocates for Israel on their college campuses.

CUFI on Campus students work to raise awareness of Israel and counter anti-Semitism at their school, mobilizing their fellow students toward specific, action-based initiatives focused on biblical, moral, and socio-political reasons to support the Jewish State.

THE CUFI STUDENT ADVOCACY LEADERSHIP TRAINING (SALT) CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP: As part of CUFI’s educational efforts, each year in San Antonio, Texas, we bring together high-level and hard-hitting advocacy and leadership training to equip our top-tier students to be effective advocates for Israel on their campuses.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR A SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE SALT CONFERENCE: ​

• Currently enrolled college students

 

What does a scholarship include? 

• Transportation costs up to $450

• Cost of a shared hotel room for 2 nights

• All meals during the conference

• Admission to the Student Advocacy Leadership Training (SALT) Conference

• Access to high-level educational sessions and training

 

Approved applications will require a $45 registration fee to confirm the spot. International travel is not provided.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS: This is a professional conference that respects the highest standards of the Christian community. The dress code for the majority of the conference is business professional. This is an alcohol-free and drug-free conference. Students must agree to comply with this standard to be eligible for a CUFI-provided scholarship.
